Toronto Greetings

We just got home last night from our trip to visit my family in Toronto. This is the tree where I spent my childhood. It has lost a few of the lower limbs. I like to think that if they were still there I could have climbed up without the help of this ladder.

We took Dusty to the ROM (Royal Ontario Museum) The adventure began in the subway. It was hard to get him out of the Museum subway station. You can see why. Tony called this “Mayan Butt Crack.

Dusty’s favourite part was the Discovery room for kids where he spent over an hour digging for Dinosaur bones. Tony and I took turns sitting not so patiently while the other looked at the rest of the museum.

My little Lego fiend was pretty impressed with this Lego Pharaoh.

I was most blown away by the David Hockney exhibit. He has done beautiful images on the ipad and iphone using a simple inexpensive app called brushes. I downloaded the brushes app and now I’m addicted. My ability is limited, but who cares. It’s so fun. This is my “Laundry night”

Before we knew it we were on the plane headed home. The sky at sunset was amazing. Didn’t have my camera, but I did have my ipod.
