A Great Weekend
Last weekend was the Halifax Crafter’s show. I met many wonderful new and old customers and also spent a fair amount of time salivating over the work of the other artists. It’s one of the nicest shows I have ever seen. People lined up to get in when the show opened and it was still crowded by the end of the second day.
I stayed over at my friend Aimee’s house in Bedford, so the next morning I had time before the show started to do something I always wanted to do. Go to the Halifax Seaport Market to be a customer and stare out the window at the harbour.
I got my cappuccino and cinnamon bun and reveled in being a lady of leisure. I could get used to this.
The weekend was a success on many levels, but at 8:30 p.m, Sunday night it sure was nice to get home to this.
