Hand Knit and Felted Hat with Three Felt Flowers- Grey, pink orange- Kendyl- Made to order

Description

The Kendyl hat is hand knit from Canadian Wool and then felted by hand to create a beautiful, strong, wind and water resistant hat. This particular version is made with yarns that I naturally dyed with both Madder root and Cochineal.

The hat in the photo will fit a medium to a little larger than medium head size, but I would be happy to custom make one for you if your head size is large or small.

This is made from a wooly wool. Many people find it comfortable, but it’s not for people who are very sensitive to wool.

To measure your head, take a soft tape measure and measure just above the eyebrows, above the tips of the ears and around the largest part of the back of your head. Try to not let the tape measure swoop down towards your neck. If you don’t have a soft tape measure you can use a string and then carefully measure the string. Repeat this a few times to be sure that you keep getting the same number.
