Suitcase Sally is my seagrass travel hat in her most basic form. She is made from hand blocked seagrass and adorned with a hand dyed cotton and hemp jersey headband. The headband comes off and can be worn alone. This is a very hearty little hat. The stitching gives it a lot of strength. You can comfortably stash this little hat into a tote bag. If it gets a bit crushed it will fall back into shape once you have worn it for a bit. You can dress her up by adding a headband with a larger flower or you can add a simple Madeline with Rosette headband for more colour variations.

Current colours for headbands are: BLACK, BROWN, RED, DARK BLUE, PERIWINKLE, PURPLE, MOSS GREEN, APPLE GREEN, LIGHT GREY, CREAM, PINK, LILAC

There is stretch in the hat, but a head size will ensure a perfect fit.

To measure your head, take a soft tape measure and measure just above the eyebrows, above the tips of the ears and around the largest part of the back of your head. Try to not let the tape measure swoop down towards your neck. If you don’t have a soft tape measure you can use a string and then carefully measure the string. Repeat this a few times to be sure that you keep getting the same number.
