This pretty, one of a kind, wheat straw cloche hat was made on my antique straw braid sewing machine. It began as a bundle of thin braided straw that I dyed, sewed, hand blocked and adorned. The inner band is made from linen for a soft and secure fit.

This hat will fit a medium head size 22.25″-22.75″
To measure your head, take a soft tape measure and measure just above the eyebrows, above the tips of the ears and around the largest part of the back of your head. Try to not let the tape measure swoop down towards your neck. If you don’t have a soft tape measure you can use a string and then carefully measure the string. Repeat this a few times to be sure that you keep getting the same number.

Wheat straw is a strong straw that will hold its shape beautifully, but it is not crushable. Please protect with a box when travelling.
